Women's Basketball falls to Park Hill South

The Liberty North Varsity Women's Basketball Team dropped a non-conference game to the visiting Park Hill South Panthers on Thursday, January 26th by the score of 36-56.  The loss drops North's overall record to 12-5 on the season.

North was led offensively by Freshman Millie Perry and Senior Nevaeh Spillman who each had 8 points. Junior Gabby Rose added 6 points.  Junior Laura Babbitt led the way rebounding with 5 boards, and Spillman grabbed 4 rebounds.

The JV Eagles also dropped their game against the Panthers falling by the score of 39-45. The loss drops the JV record to 10-2 overall on the season.

Junior Mackenzie Mills led the way on offense for the Eagles dropping 13 points.  Sophomore Carlie Micahelsen had 9 points and Freshman Mia Couch added 6 points.

The Eagles will next be in action on Monday, January 30th when they will host Blue Springs South in a conference game.  Tip for the JV game will be at 5:30pm, with the Varsity game to follow at 7pm.  North will be right back in action on Tuesday, January 31st as they will host Lee's Summit in a non-conference match-up with tips at 5:30 and 7pm.
