The Liberty North Women's Basketball Team dropped a tough conference road game on Friday, February 10th to the Lee's Summit West Titans by the score of 44-49. With the loss North now stands 14-8 overall on the season, and 3-3 in Conference play.
The Eagles were led offensively by Senior Nevaeh Spillman who had 12 points, Senior Ella Hayes who had 10 points, and Freshman Alex Couch who had 8 points. Spillman led the way in rebounding as well grabbing 13 rebounds to complete her double/double for the game. Couch had 8 rebounds and Junior Laura Babbitt grabbed 7 rebounds.
The JV Eagles also dropped a tough game to the Titans as they fell 38-40. With the loss the JV's record now stands at 14-3 overall on the season.
Junior Mackenzie Mills led the way offensively for the Eagles with 12 points. Junior Victoria Yak added 11 points and Freshman Kara Durso had 9 points.
North is back in action on Monday, February 13 as they will host St. Joseph Central in a non-conference matchup in the Fieldhouse. The JV game will tip at 5:30pm and the Varsity game will follow at 7pm.
